01The problem
Every cycle, the same preparation.
Weekly or monthly reports keep a consistent structure, but every cycle requires updating data from multiple sources: exports, manual updates, charts and the presentation, before reaching the analysis.
02What it does
- 01
Four reports, one process
Paid Media, Social Media, Listening + Search and Web Analytics. Each one answers a different business question with the same sequence: template, connected data and final report.
- 02
The template first
Before automating, design what the business needs to receive: metrics, comparisons, evidence and next steps. Every module has a purpose and a source.
- 03
Reconciliation before the finding
Each report reconciles its totals before proposing a finding: complete reporting period, required fields available, standardized taxonomy and reconciled metrics.
- 04
A report for the decision
Executive summary, channel analysis, evidence and an action plan. The deliverable ends with owners and review criteria.
03How it works
- 01
Define the deliverable
Set the business question and the report structure. The structure is ready; values are still empty.
- 02
Connect the sources
Connect the case sources, align their definitions and check the information that will feed the report.
- 03
Bring each field into place
Each field feeds a specific component; each calculation has a visible destination in the report.
- 04
Transform and validate
Standardize, calculate, compare, validate and interpret. Every indicator uses its own formula and denominator, and quality checks run before conclusions are written.
- 05
Team review
Automation prepares the evidence. The team reviews, discusses and decides.
04Data and limits
No accounts are connected.
Simulation with synthetic data from a fictional investment manager: full May and June 2026 periods, July 8 cutoff, no live connection. Simulated sources and connections. The comparisons do not establish incrementality or causality, and the decision is reviewed with the team.
